Re:Cycle was my response to art world excesses in the early 1990s. Composed of glossy art magazine images of other people’s work, it was a mass appropriation. A walkway was paved with a set of aesthetics course books. Concealed fans made it appear that the images were being spewed from a smokestack / column, also made of books. Narcissus bulbs grew up out of the art / debris and flowered during the run of the exhibitions.
